Location

The main circulation department is located on the 2nd floor, but on the 1st floor you'll find a collection of the latest and most popular books, magazines dvd, sports books, art books and cooking books.

You can search the circulating collection through www.leitir.is and here is the English format of that page. By searching through this database you see the collections of all connected libraries. 

How to sign in?

If you sign in you can save queries and rss-feeds, see your loans, renew the loans, make reservations and request ILL.

My account gives you access to:

• Loan report
• Renew loan on books, audiobooks and magazines
• Reserve material that is currently unavailable (charges may apply)
• Monitor late turn charges
• A list of the last 200 items loaned out on you card
• Reserve material via interlibrary loan from other libraries (charges may apply)
• Update information about address, phone numbers and e‐mail
