(answer) Dear patrons! Because of unforeseen situation we had to postpone the Human Library and we are sorry for such a sudden notice! But the head librarian reacted quickly for the quiz loving people that you are and posed for a picture, in the middle of all his work (just look at his desk!)

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Icelandic Crime Society, they invite all crime story readers to take part in the so-called crime quiz on September 5th, an exciting quiz written by the notorious Ævar Erni Jósepsson, the society's chairman. The competition will be held in many public libraries at the same time.

(answer) Dear Friday- and quizloving patrons! Pride month is going on strong and therefore we dedicate the Friday quiz to that month.

Dear patrons. Even though quiz day is tomorrow, it is fun to see older pictures of the library and see what's changed. This one is just about 8 years old - taken in October 2016.

(answer) Dear patrons! It's Friday and it is known as quiz day, right? Quiz no. 31 of the year and it is connected to the beautiful bookmarks the group of Vinnurós gave few days ago - and you can grab a few of them with you!

Today a group of young individuals from Akureyri's Youth Work - Vinnurós - delivered a box of bookmarks for patrons!

Saturday, 31st of August, Human Library is hosting an event at the Municipal Library of Akureyri from 12pm to 3pm.

Dear patrons! The publication of movies on DVDs is not as active as it was, so "new films" are new a little bit longer. But this picture was recently taken in front of the shelves with new DVDs and this time you have to find five differences.
