Dear patrons and fans of coffeehouses. Like you have hopefully noticed, Fjaka Crêperie Akureyri has opened a coffeehouse in the Municipal Library of Akureyri. We'll dedicate this week's quiz to that wonderful coffeehouse!

On Saturday, November 9th, between 12-3 pm, there will be a board game and puzzle market at the library.

Dear best patrons in the world! We repeat the good news from last two years and for the next six weeks or so we'll be open until 10 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays!! Hurrah for that!

(answer) Dear patrons! November is here and the Halloween fun went extremely well! Thank you for coming yesterday! Because of Halloween the Friday quiz will be dedicated to the artwork of the Municipal Library's employees that were made yesterday morning.

We look forward to welcoming children and families on Halloween 2024! Feel free to attend in costume if you have some !

(answer) Dear teddybear- and quizloving patrons and wellwishers! October is a teddybear month and Bella the library teddybear has been entertaining kids here at the library. Tomorrow is the big teddybear storytime, Saturday October 26th, 1 pm! The Friday quiz is dedicated to that!

In the month of October, the monthly swap market will be dedicated to knitting, crocheting and embroidery enthusiasts!

(svar) Dear patrons and quizlovers! Here it is, the fortieth quiz of the year! Woo hoo! Five book covers from five really new books!

In the board games' department of the Municipal Library there are over 300 board games to check out. All board games can be borrowed for 30 days.

Dear patrons! We don't have to say it because you already know it ... but still: Now that the snow is colouring our beautiful town in white, you should definitely remember that books and snow or books and cold are not the greatest friends!
