Dear patrons! It's Friday and it is known as quiz day, right? Quiz no. 31 of the year and it is connected to the beautiful bookmarks the group of Vinnurós gave few days ago - and you can grab a few of them with you!

Today a group of young individuals from Akureyri's Youth Work - Vinnurós - delivered a box of bookmarks for patrons!

(answer!) Dear patrons, football fans and quizsolvers! - Happy birthday and what do we do?? We solve a quiz! And this time the quiz is related to the newest exhibition in the library, "Kristján Sturluson's jersey collection: Wycombe Wanderers."

Saturday, 31st of August, Human Library is hosting an event at the Municipal Library of Akureyri from 12pm to 3pm.

Dear patrons! The publication of movies on DVDs is not as active as it was, so "new films" are new a little bit longer. But this picture was recently taken in front of the shelves with new DVDs and this time you have to find five differences.

Dear patrons! We want to thank everyone who helped making the Great Potter Day 2024 svo memorable. Around 800 guest came and employees were a little bit fewer. The magic flowed around and through the library and the joy was pure and true!

Dear patrons and HP-lovers! Harry James Potter's birthday is 31st of July and we're gonna celebrate that at the Municipal Library! Program the whole day and you should definitely come and have fun!

Dear authors and scholars! Applications for staying in the author- and scholar-apartment in David's house will be done in the same way as previous years.

On Thursday 25th of July between 10:00-12:00, a librarian with an extra green fingers will be helping with the harvest in our community garden. Stop by and pick up a salad and other delicious things for free.

Dear witches, wizards and muggles - on July 31st Harry Potter will be 44 years old. On the occasion of this day, we throw a party like last years and welcome you to the Great Potter's Day 2024!
