Christmassy patrons! We are so into Christmas these days of course and use the Friday quiz this time to advertise the fantastic Christmas Storytime at the library! It will be held on December 5th, so a lot of time to prepare, but do do you know what? There are seven differences this time!

Dear patrons! Here is a clever idea! If the books you want to read are not available ... you should reserve them!

Ho ho ho, dear patrons! Christmas is coming, Christmas music all around and we at the library are in the Christmas spirit of course. Christmas books have been pouring in and you should definitely take advantage of being able to reserve books! But we also have Christmas movies and other Christmas related material. Come and see! Ho ho ho!

Do you want to learn how to mend socks? This a workshop where we learn the basics of mending.

Dear patrons! Because of informative meeting for the staff of the Municipal Library of Akureyri next Friday (November 15th), the self-service will be open longer that day but full service starts at 1 pm.

(answer) Dear patrons and fans of coffeehouses. Like you have hopefully noticed, Fjaka Crêperie Akureyri has opened a coffeehouse in the Municipal Library of Akureyri. We'll dedicate this week's quiz to that wonderful coffeehouse!

On Saturday, November 9th, between 12-3 pm, there will be a board game and puzzle market at the library.
