Outdoor activities and hiking : lecture

Are you always on the way to start outdoor activities and (mountain) hikes but can't get started?

The married couple Anna Sigrún and Kristján will have an educational talk about equipment and various other useful things when preparing and carrying out hiking trips.

Municipal Library of Akureyri, Tuesday, June 11th, 4.30-6.30 pm!

Anna Sigrún joined the scout movement at an early where her interest in hiking and other outdoor activities sparked. Outdoor activities of all kinds have always been in Anna Sigrún's mind and heart, and there are hundreds of mountains she has hiked over the years.

Kristján is a farmer's son from Eyjafjörður County who grew up walking in the mountains to pick up sheep. After one hike on Hvannadalshnjúk, where he met Anna Sigrún, he became interested in hiking more mountains, and they have become quite a few of the mountains he has hiked in recent years.

We encourage you to attend the event in an environmentally friendly manner. The bus is free and all buses stop in the city center 300 meters from the museum.
