The island features several information boards that share its history, points of interest, and other engaging content, making them enjoyable to read both before and during your visit.

At the port and airport terminal, you will find North Coast Route signs covering topics such as:

• The Arctic & Antarctic Circles
• The island at the Arctic Circle

In the area above the harbor, a story board provides information about:

• Fiske - benefactor of Grímsey
• The village by the Arctic Circle

At the church, a historical sign (installation in progress) tells the story of:
