The Memmm Play open preschool will pop up at parents' morning on November 19 from 10:00-12:00.
Helga Sif from Memmm play in Akureyri is going to come and be with us at the parents' morning this Tuesday.
The open preschool has been operating in the capital area for the last 3 years, but now plans to offer events in Akureyri in collaboration with Amtsbókasafnið. Helga Sif manages Memmm Play in Akureyri, but she is a self-employed occupational therapist.
Memmm Play offers families the opportunity to come together in a safe and family-friendly environment where children can play, strengthen their social development and connect with peers. The Open Kindergarten places special emphasis on supporting parents in their new role and promoting strong relationships among children in a fun and relaxing environment.
At this first Memmm Play event, we will be moving bookshelves to expand the space in the children's department so there will be plenty of room to play and have fun. Helga brings various toys for the youngest generation and the library offers coffee for the older ones. At 11:00 there is a singing session where those who want can participate. The open kindergarten is open to everyone with infants who wants to come and have a fun time, e.g. parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles, aupairs and nannies.
